Getting It Done: Honoring Kristen Peterson

At GiGi’s Playhouse, our core values guide everything we do. One of those values—Get It Done—is all about action. It’s about stepping up, pushing through challenges, and making meaningful progress, even when the path isn’t easy.

At this year’s gala, we had the honor of recognizing someone who lives out that value in an extraordinary way.

Our Get It Done Award celebrates a Board Member who doesn’t just meet expectations—but consistently goes beyond them. Someone who brings ideas to life, removes obstacles, and helps move our mission forward every single day.

This year, we proudly honored Kristen Peterson.

A Leader Who Makes Things Happen

Kristen serves as Treasurer on our Board, but her impact reaches far beyond her title.

She brings a rare combination of insight, precision, and dedication to everything she takes on. Known for being thoughtful and incredibly thorough, Kristen approaches every challenge with care and clarity—often thinking several steps ahead to ensure nothing is overlooked.

She’s dependable in the truest sense of the word. Always responsive. Always willing to step in. Always committed to finding a solution.

And perhaps most impressively, she has a way of making even the most complex work look seamless—while supporting and encouraging everyone around her.

A Passion for Purpose

Kristen works in Treasury at Titan Machinery Inc. and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy with a minor in Criminal Justice from University of North Dakota. Her professional background spans banking, fraud investigation, credit, financial planning and analysis, and treasury operations—bringing a depth of knowledge that strengthens our organization in countless ways.

But what makes Kristen truly special is her heart for service.

After attending a GiGi’s Playhouse gala, she felt an immediate connection to the mission. It didn’t take long for her to turn that connection into action—stepping into a leadership role where she could make a real difference.

Since then, she has been a steady, driving force behind the scenes, helping ensure that GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo continues to grow and serve families in our community.

Beyond the Boardroom

Outside of her work and board service, Kristen enjoys a well-rounded life in West Fargo with her two dogs. You can often find her on the golf course, out for a walk, practicing yoga, or relaxing with a good binge-worthy show.
